The latest Deal or No Deal Jackpot has just been won by Alena S of London, a research company employee. In a telephone call to announce the big win and find out how she was feeling, she had this to say:

I can’t believe it! I keep thinking I haven’t won, but I have! I’ve been telling everyone. It’s quite shocking. It’s amazing!

Alena has been a member of Jackpotjoy since August 2007 but it wasn’t just her who was taken by surprise. Her son William got quite a shock as well.

During the phone call William was nearby and was passed the handset so Alena could have a moment to take in the £239,088 news.

I’m in utter disbelief that she’s won! I couldn’t really think what to say. I’d just come back from the shops and she was screaming. I asked her what was wrong and at first I thought she had made a mistake because she thought she'd won before. This time it’s for real!

Alena was a bit too overwhelmed to announce many plans for the cash but there’s a couple of things already on her ‘to do’ list.

I’m going to pay off the mortgage and help out the family, starting with my parents. My son will probably already have a list of things he wants too! I love the Deal or No Deal show so I just can’t believe this win!

In celebration of her win, Alena will shortly be making her way to London for a complimentary night out on the town. It’s already shaping up to be quite the double celebration.

It’s my birthday this Friday and I’d love to come to town to celebrate!
